COMMON AREAS

LA VIDA BUTANTÃ

Adopting the architectural strategy of multiplying the functions of the spaces allowed us to provide countless uses to the common areas of La Vida Butantã, a Grupo Lar project in the west zone of São Paulo. The location next to the yellow subway line, with easy access to Brigadeiro Faria Lima Avenue and the hustle of Pinheiros district are other advantages of the unique tower.

The leisure area is divided in two parts: one on the ground floor and another on the rooftop, which enhances the skyline of the city. The contemporary atmosphere is partly defined by the versatile furniture pieces, which assume different roles in the residents’ routine. A cheerful palette and easy-to-maintain resistant materials complete the welcoming mood.

With several possibilities of use, the party room hosts different types and sizes of social gatherings, in addition to being a living lounge where residents can seat and relax routinely. Work meetings and small meetings also can be hosted there.

THE COLLECTIVE LAUNDRY, ANOTHER SERVICE AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS, IS INTEGRATED TO THE LOBBY, WITH MODERN MACHINES AND MAXIMUM FUNCTIONALITY

ASSOCIATE AT TODOS

The cheerful palette of the kids space proves that even a clean decoration can create a playful atmosphere. The green is also present in the main gym, which received special attention to the lighting technology project. By day, the room is flooded with natural light; at night, the remarkable lighting makes the environment more welcoming and frames the city’s skyline.

The lobby offers a space dedicated to coworking, with tables of different sizes to accomodate clients or hold meetings. The design is clean and minimalist, with a functional atmosphere. The gym reserved for residents of the long-stay apartments was idealized to be a space for care and well-being.

There are multiple layout possibilities for the apartments. We designed a version with a home office and a pocketknife table for the decorated apartment that is located on site, and two other possibilities: one with glass partition separating the bedroom; and the other with a slatted panel enclosing the bedroom, which guarantees privacy.
