APARTMENT STATION VILA MADALENA
With a square footage of only 27 m², Station Vila Madalena, a decorated apartment designed for the real estate developer Viver, offers a fluid layout, materiality and a striking color palette. Its privileged location in the district of Vila Madalena, in São Paulo, was the starting point for the definition of the apartment’s concept: a home for those who take advantage of the surrounding urban infrastructure.

In the loft-style apartment, we enlarged the living area by integrating the balcony and leveling the floor with the vinyl flooring Sésamo, by Tarkett. The space, designed for living and entertaining, has a sofa, dining table, armchair and stools – all of them with toothpick-shaped legs, which leave the floor visible, offering a feeling of spaciousness.
In the background, the wall covered with ceramic tiles Liverpool Matt White, by Portobello, extends itself to the kitchen backsplash, a solution that ensures fluidity. There, the suspended custom-made metal shelf above the sink keeps the most used items at hand, while generous cupboards on both sides of the room offer plenty of storage space.
The corridor kitchen is marked by the blue color that visually sectorizes the room in the fully integrated social area. The lighting design that includes two linear tracks in the ceiling and sconces installed in strategic spots brings a cozy atmosphere to the kitchen.
The metal bookcase painted in a light color and with wired glass panels in the back divides the social and private areas, giving some privacy to the resident. The TV with swivel stand serves the living room and bedroom. The custom-made base of the bed, with drawers, is also finished with a pale wood pattern and the closet presents the same wired glass used in the bookcase.
In the bathroom, Nord Ris porcelain tiles by Portobello cover the floor and half of the wall. In the shower box, blue is seen again in the Terralma Bora Bora tiles, also by Portobello. To complement the room’s color palette, pale wood finish is present on the cabinet and on the shelves above the sink.
